I’m female, I’m 33, and I live in Oxford with my best friend, her brother and an amazing little white dog. My best friend and I met at Oxford (she did History, I did Philosophy, Politics & Economics, and we were both mature students, i.e. over the age of 21 when we started our degrees).
All three of us drink too much, and we love TV, especially shows that attract crazy, fame-seeking, over-confident people, like America’s Next Top Model, Come Dine With Me, Project Runway and – most of all – Rock of Love with Brett Michaels.
I used to work in an office and I hated my job because my boss was crazy. So I left and went back to the restaurant I worked at right after I finished my degree.
I love personal ads, I love Wotsits, and I am a bit of a hoarder. The primary purpose of this blog is to serve as a showcase for my stuff, because I have a lot of it: mainly textiles, but also a lot of other stuff – glass, ceramics, pictures, etc. I collect bad art. I love experts and enthusiasts, documentaries, the internet ( <3 <3 <3 ), and country music.
Hello.
I enjoy reading your blog. Its kinda quirky. If you’re a fan of bad art, you should check out this website. http://www.museumofbadart.org/ I would love to visit for real one day.
The evocative nature of ‘Dog’ and ‘Two Trees in love’ really floats my boat.
That place looks AMAZING – thank you so much for bringing it to my attention. My sister is going to be really excited about it too. It’s absolutely on my list of places to go when I get my UK passport. Yay!
